| Monfalascensori was set up in 1968 by Sergio
Polensig, who left his job as elevator engineer at Scam in
Mestre in order to branch out on his own. He chose Monfalcone
to set up his firm because it is an area from which you can
easily reach Grado, Gorizia and Triest.
At the beginning the firm dealt with the selling,
installation and maintenance of lifts, the construction of
electric systems and carpentry.
In the course of time the owner was able to extend clients,
with whom he established a good relationship. This helped his
son Gianluca when he passed away in 1991.
Gianluca Polensig, information scientist, had been already
working in the firm for five years and his technical
experience helped him to lead the company.
Thank to the new dynamic staff the firm grows up:
informatics application is improved, the management is
reorganized, new elevator engineers are employed, the base and
the storehouse are enlarged. The number of maintained and
new-built lifts rises.
In May 1998 Monfalascensori obtained the CSQ-IQNet
certification for its Quality System and in September 2001 it
reached the Quality System (as in Directive 95/16 CE) in all
the stages, from building to the final check.
As from January 1st 2001 Monfalascensori started the
assistance and emergency services 24 hours a day: a big
engagement which ensures our customers safety and liability. |
